Uptown Community Garden is a vibrant, community-driven space dedicated to organic gardening and sustainable living. With 16 garden beds available, members are encouraged to grow fresh, healthy food for their own families while connecting with fellow gardeners. The garden features a dedicated classroom area and a library stocked with gardening books, creating an inviting environment for learning and sharing knowledge. New gardeners are warmly welcomed, and there’s a strong emphasis on education and community involvement.
Priority is given to residents from the local neighborhood, helping to strengthen ties and foster a sense of local pride and stewardship.

Communal garden. No fees. This garden is on WSU campus open to the community. 10 raised beds, plot of soil and fruit trees. The garden is run by the WSU Green Group, a group concerned with sustainability and food insecurity on and around the WSU campus.Produce shared with gardeners and community; extra is donated to Shocker Support Locker. Any chemical usage must be approved by the group.
