Empower Commercial Kitchens is Wichita’s largest nonprofit shared-use kitchen, offering licensed commercial kitchen space and business support for food entrepreneurs across South Central Kansas. Our 5,000-square-foot facility includes multiple fully equipped kitchens, prep stations, cold and dry storage, and 24/7 access for active users.
We provide an affordable, supportive environment for caterers, bakers, food truck operators, vendors, and early-stage food businesses. In addition to kitchen access, members receive help with licensing, general liability insurance, inspections, and business development. Empower is committed to nurturing diverse food businesses, creating pathways to market, and increasing access to entrepreneurial resources in underserved communities.
