The decision to go against the “grain” was one in which centered around our own families and what we were feeding ourselves, more importantly, our children. After researching several cattle breeds, we came across Red Wagyu(Akaushi), and felt like we had hit a home-run. Combining the genetic health benefits with superior carcass traits, most notably, marbling was something we were excited about. The more we talked about it, the more we wanted to share the benefits with others. Thus, Skyview RII was born.
